Research On The Language Features Of The Post-80s Youth Novel

Language is the carrier of ideas.The language features record the thinking track and life style of a generation.Post-80s youth literature stepped onto the literary stage of the early 21st century,dancing out their own style.This paper intends to explore and summarize the language features of Post-80s youth novel,and to study the reasons for the formation of the language features and effect,reflecting the ideology and social life of the youth in a particular time.It explores how the society and times affect the language features of the youth.This essay falls into five parts:First,the preface briefly introduces the youth novel, its present research,the reasons and objective of the research.The second part is about the language features of the Post-80s youth novel and how they formed,including the lists of words and sentences about the psychology and thinking of the young adolescents, about the youth culture and the brilliant time.The third part analyses the rhetorical language creation by word conversion,temporary copy,word order adjustment and extraordinary mixture of metaphor and synaesthesia.The fourth part analyses the language under the influence of the post-modern ideas through irony,humor,nonsense, parody,collage and fragmentation.The fifth part analyses the language effect of the Post-80s youth novel,from the psychological,economic and multicultural perspective.
