The Study Of The Form Of "Hao(好)+Bu(不)+X" And The Comparative Study Between The Form Of "Hao(好)+Bu(不)+X" And The Form Of "Hen(很)+Bu(不)+X" In Morden Chinese Language

The form of"hao(好)+bu(不)+X"showing two types of positive and negative sense of the same form,which is a very special phenomenon in modern Chinese language and aroused wide concern of many Linguistic scholars as early as the end of the 20th century.From the aspect of form,X can be adjectives,verbs,phrases or idioms,but not all of them can meet the requirement and enter into the form of"hao(好)+bu(不) +X".From the aspect of meaning,whether different words entering,into the form of"hao (好)+bu(不)+X"expressing the meaning of positive or negative is different.Some words entering into the form of"hao(好)+bu(不)+X"can only express the meaning of positive or negative.Some words entering into the form of"hao(好)+bu(不)+X"not only can express the positive meaning but also can express the negative meaning,we can only determine whether it expresses positive or negative meaning in specific context.Among them,some words entering into the form can express positive or negative meaning, however,due to its own characteristics,they enter into the form of"hao(好)+bu(不)+X", making the form of"hao(好)+bu(不)+X"tend to choose negative or positive meaning. At the same time,many dictionaries tend to explain"hao(好)+bu(不)"expressing negative meaning as"hen(很)+bu(不)",and in fact,the form of"hao(好)+bu(不)+X"and the form of"he(很)+bu(不)+X"has differences in the semantics,syntax and usage.This paper bases on existing research results,focuses on analyzing of the form of"hao(好)+bu(不)+X"itself and on comparative studies between the form of"hao (好)+bu(不)+X"and the form of"he(很)+bu(不)+X".It attempts to make a comprehensive and systematic description of the form of"hao(好)+bu(不)+X".At the same time,to showe the unique value of the form of"hao(好)+bu(不)+X"by comparative studies with the form of"he(很)+bu(不)+X".The paper consists of six parts.The introduction mainly introduces the reason of choosing this theme,the value,the source corpus and research status.The first part interprets constructive foundation of the form of"hao(好)+bu(不)+X",dividing the form of"hao(好)+bu(不)+X"into 3 types,from semantic aspects,which are"好不X _肯""好不X_否"and"好不X_{肯/否}",pointing out that"好不"which is a constituent of"好不X_肯"is an adverb and analyses the characteristics of the parts of speech of X.The second part interpret configuration features of the form of"hao(好)+bu(一)+X",pointing out that the"X"or"不X"only confines to"the features of non-quantitative"can enter into this form.At the same time,it analyses six kinds of expressions of the form of"hao(好) +bu(不)+X".The third part interprets three categories of the form of"hao(好)+bu(不) +X":"好不X_肯""好不X_否"and"好不X_{肯/否}"respectively,analyses characteristics of X which can enter into the three categories above and the reasons why the three types choose the meaning of negative or positive.The forth part makes a comparative study between the form of"hao(好)+bu(不)+X"and the form of"he(很)+bu(不)+X"from the aspect of the semantics,syntax and usage.The conclusion makes a summary of this paper and introduces the practical significance of the conclusion made in this paper.
