From Traditional Knitting Techniques To Modern Fiber Art

The period that from 20 century to present is the process which the modern fiber art initiates and develops,while it is also traditional knitting craft reforming process.In this process,the modern fiber art maintains own artistic in the independent foundation, absorbing the essence of traditional knitting craft and developing gradually;At the same time,the states promotes with great effort in field of traditional culture protection,as well as the establishment of wide variety of new modern art.Hence,fiber art's development has played a positive role.This article is divided into three chapters.The first and second chapters collect the domestic and exterior collection,merging the national tradition knitting craft into modern idea,adapting the new social conditions and development opportunities the concrete example.By this proof,we can drew a conclusion that the reforming process from traditional knitting craft to modern fiber art.The third chapter is the summary of my article,based on the examples above,attempting to discover the positive guiding sense that modern fiber art developing process to with a new discipline establishment as well as the traditional process protection.Simultaneously,I hope that via the analysis of fiber art developing process,initially realize the summarizes of characteristics:"individuality" and "practical" in order to developing the expecting function of valuable ideas.
