The"Particularly Cats" as one of representative works of Doris Lessing's late literature creation,it is also the only one literature that Lessing so far creats which to take the animals as the main descriptive object at the same time. Therefore, the "Particularly Cats"is important for us to interpretation. Not only for our research about Lessing's late literature creation and the whole literature creation opening a new vision, but also for us to grasp the writing skills expanding a new space.Narrative theory and comparative literature theory as the study basis of the whole thesis. And it also divides three parts to expand on the analysis and the explanation for the "Particularly Cats".The whole literature is about writing the true feelings between "I" and the cats on the surface. But in fact,it is through writing about the relationgship between "I" and the cats,to reflect the relationship between humanity and nature. Through the cats' survival reflects the people's life, and also scaning the human nature principles hide behind the cats. Not only letting us feel deeply alienation among the people, but also sincerely feel that in the process of pursuiting of the social progress and human self-development,the humanity is gradually further and further away from nature,as well as the gradual loss of the most primitive freedom and human nature happiness. As the United States "Library Jouunal" magazine commentted:"Lessing elegant and attractive description reveals the world which hides behind each cat's bright eyes." So,the "Particularly Cats" is not "only a cat".It is not only a life which has the eaqual survival status and rights with the humanity, but also is the microcosm of all living creatures in our society. This paper attempts to work through the discussion on the narrative patterns, the interpretation to the diverse themes and the unique creation, then we can have a better understanding and grasp for this work,as well as Doris Lessing's late creation thought.
