The Fuzhou Port has been an important harbor for carrying trade of Fujian Province since ancient times.It is the important location that the Dinghai Bay is in the north of Fuzhou Port makes it to be the main sea-route for northing of Fuzhou Port. Since 1990,underwater archaeologists and local heritage staffs have do so much work in Dinghai Bay that they get large numbers of ceramic from Song to Qing Dynasty. Base on the research of predecessors,the paper finds that these ceramic come from the Pukou Kiln,Yi Kiln,Qing Kiln etc which are in the lower reach of Min River. And they would have been sent to Japan at that time.Combining with literature,the paper tries to study the intercourse between Japan and Fujian from Song to Qing Dynasty.And attempts to study the marine culture kept in the Dinghai Bay ceramic. The full paper comprises introduction,text and conclusion.Introduction offers a brief review of the research on the Dinghai Bay ceramic,the production and export of Fujian ceramic and the Fuzhou Port.After that,the author shows the necessity of this study.Chapterâ… makes a brief description about the geographical environment,history and underwater archaeological work of the Dinghai Bay.Chapterâ…¡shows the connotation of the ceramic found from the Dinghai Bay,and discusses about where they were produced.Chapterâ…¢discusses about where these ceramic were sent to,and then study the overseas traffic of Fuzhou Port from Song to Qing Dynasty combining with literature.With a view to the marine tradition of southeast aboriginal,Chapterâ…£attempts to study the historical heritage of the marine culture kept in the Dinghai Bay ceramic.
