A Study Of Jiangnan In Yuefu Poems

The author analyzes some Yuefu poems about Jiangnan area to figure the image of Jiangnan from the Late Han Dynasty to the Middle Tang Dynasty.In the Jin and Song Dynasty,Yuefu poems about Jiangnan area offered different information because of different Literature types. In the Liang Dynasty, the contexts of Yuefu poems about Jiangnan area had owned significant differences for the status of poets.Till the Middle Tang,Yuefu poems came to reflecte the social activities of Jiangnan area directly and effectively.From what has been discussed,the author concludes that Yuefu poems ,as an unique poem type,are affected by the classcial standared of literature itself rather than the tide of the day. Exaggerating the impact of the society upon the Yuefu poems is not appropriate.
