In Ming and Qing dynasty, with the consummate of the Imperial Examination System, the development of new social ideological trend, the prosperity of the Commodity economy, the society changed the educational concepts for female. And the development of the publishing industry, the diversification of education ways, and the popular of private collection of books, all of these create the conditions for female education. Under such a cultural background, education for girls of privilegentsia was highlighted for special attention. Girls not only learnt from the traditional behavior of being a lady, but also were given cultural knowledge by parents or tutors. A girl with knowledge was regards as glory of the family and at the same time, with knowledge would also raise the value of the woman who used to be put into the marriage market. Under this background, polydora groups rised abruptly in a high speed, and it make a far-reaching impact to the romantic novels about talented scholars and beautiful ladies, the scholars pursue ladies with the both fair appearance and talent even the moral excellence, the beautiful ladies have courage to pursue true love bravely, enjoying their definite ideas and insistences for their marriage. They are independent, self-confidential and courageous, make their knolege to be weapon to solve the contradiction leisurely. Here, based on the point of female education, combine the social culture background in the certain period, to makes a research on the cultrue cause of the formation of the polydora in the romantic novels about talented scholars and beautiful ladies in Ming and Qing dynasty, on the influences of female education to the formation of the figure image of the beautiful ladies, and on the influences of beautiful ladies's talent to their marriage, and so on. This paper attempts to achieve a better understanding of the romantic novels about talented scholars and beautiful ladies form above-mentioned point of view.
