During the 30-year history of the new-era literature, Christianity has been deemed as an important source for diversification and the spiritual world. The writers that have been influenced by Christianity have attempted to build a colorful and powerful spiritual space, by adopting this religion. Under such circumstances as the spiritual dilemma and wordless writers, writing of this kind could undoubtedly serve the purpose. However, whether those writers with the belief in Christianity could inquire into the soul as well as its value has drawn much attention in China, a country in which the traditional virtues are discarded and the belief is non-existent. Against such a social and cultural background, this thesis tries to reveal the true relations between the authorship and the Christian culture over the 30 years in the respect of the new-era literature, as well as to interpret the value. This thesis consists of three parts, that is, the Introduction, the Body and the Conclusion. The Introduction briefly explains the constant changes in the writers'spiritual choices and their living styles during the past 30 years, and then clarifies the value of the research on this subject. The Body is composed of three chapters. Starting from the two aspects of the latest evolution in the writers' identities, Chapter One systematically combs the latest evolutions over the past 30 years in the history of the new-era literature. During the past 30 years in the new-era literature, the writers have left the era in which their political identities were much emphasized, and made their way to a time in which their cultural identities became visible. At the same time, their sexes and racial identities began to be recognized by themselves, and their identities in inter-generation and class also appeared. Some of them even converted to religions, thus with a religious identity.Chapter Two divides the writers into Christian- writers, cultural- Christian writers and non-Christian ones, and then analyzes their respective connection with the Christian culture. Whether with a Christian identity, a cultural-Christian identity or non-Christian, the writers have all made great efforts to glorify the new-era literature for the past 30 years.Chapter Three, in the respects of the past, the present, the western and the Chinese, deals with the historic characteristics of the spreading of Christianity and the authorship constitution. Over the past 30 years, the writers have become increasingly persistent in their belief in the Christian culture. Numerous writers who have been redeemed by Christ are now at every corner around the world where Chinese language is thriving. They have exceeded the modern writers to a great extent. During that period of time, the writers on the vast land of China where there wasn't any belief in Christianity have made good use of the Christian culture to integrate with the globe to a greater degree.Last but not least, the Conclusion applies the concept"identity"to draw a conclusion about the relationship between the authorship constitution and the Christian culture. Over the 30 years in the new-era literature, the relationship between the writers, with their ever-changing identities, and the Christian culture has well on its way.
