Isabel Allende is the famous female writer of Chile.She is considered one of the most important writers after the Latin-American literature explodes.She is also the present of magic-realism of"the second generation".She is honored as "puts on skirt's Marquez" in Europe.Her most famous work is the House of the Spirits,which is considered that full of content.And the implication is also profound.It is called Chilean's one hundred Years of solitude.This article chooses this novel as study object,utilizes Benjamin's modern allegory theory,carries on the text analysis emphatically,to reveal the unique modern allegorical quality in this novel.At the same time,the article unifies writer's biography and Latin-America's cultural context to discus the reasons.This paper divides into three parts.The first chapter reviews the development of the tradition allegory theories,and then analyses Benjamin's modern allegory theory simply,which is this article's theory foundation.The second chapter is this article's key part.On the foundation of reading text attentively,it analyses this novel in four aspects,such as melancholy, fragments,depressed and salvation,and unearth the modern allegorical quality of the novel, according to explaining of Benjamin's allegory category.The third chapter is mainly to research the reason of the modern allegorical quality of the novel in the creation text's foundation.It has analyzed the Latin American magic-realism writing tradition,emphatically to analyse the influence as well as the author's unique survival experience.
