Since the beginning of 2006, Shidai Literature and Art Press of Changchun, Jilin, has been planning for the publication of a series of works with the same title "A Record of My Life". Bi Shumin (1952, Wendeng Shandong origin, born in Yining, Xinjiang), Can Xue (1953, Changsha, Hunan), Wang Xiaoni (1955, Changchun, Jilin), Fang Fang (1955, Jiangxi pengze origin, born in Nanjing), Lin Bai (1958, Guangxi Bobai origin, born in Guangxi Beiliu), Hong Ying (1962, Chongqing), Hai Nan (1962, Yunnan Yongsheng), and Xu Kun (1965, Shenyang, Liaoning),these eight women wrtiers' A Record of My Life with the same title have showed more or less the same style of content and aesthetic tendencies in their subject, the form of creative methods, style and so on. These eight works, mainly writing about writes' own life experience use the emotional and poetic words, and are different from traditional autobiography which is characterized with the integrity of space and time. These works are constituted with many short life notes and incorporation of pictures and words. We can not only explore the life, creative experiences and feminist consciousness of female writers in 50's and 60's, but also research and sum up the aesthetic significance of stylistic change of current autobiography by studying these works.In this paper, the author percepted, analyzed and inducted these eight works exquisitely and deeply, and summarize the original standpoint of these works in biographic self-presence context, using close reading method. The introduction just presents the similarities between this series and traditional autobiography and their new aesthetic extension, showing the significance and research perspective of this paper.The body is divided into three parts focusing on the short literary style, poetic style of writing, and meaningful words respectively; and returning to historical scene based on the insert of pictures to analyze the life trajectory of female writers. The first part expounds the way of feeling expression and mind spiritual salvation of "them" who are both ordinary women and women writers. In their writing they show extraordinary life consciousness by describing their own daily life.The second part is about their conscious evasion to the realistic affair and historical case . In private life experience and personal spirit pursuit, the works display individual social experience, psychological sense and physiological feeling in daily life by writing and picture to present the meaning of individual life behind the society and history. The third part discusses the works putting up the common feminist consciousness of individual life by harmonious incorporation of fragmentary narration and self-vision subjects. The works present the attractive emotional tension and aesthetic space in the sentimentalized, aestheticized, and emotionalized text. The conclusion sum up that in A Record of My Life the eight writers pay attention to details of private life, and depict a unique individual world from their own emotional body and inner thoughts. They say for themselves. This kind of writing style emphasizes on "little narrative" and it may be a new growth point of Chinese autobiography. |
