The Research Of Liang Shiqiu's Literary Thought Of The Doctrine Of Mean

Looking back in the new century dawn,we find that:after absorbing lessons of the Westernization Movement,the WuXu Movement(1898) and the XinHai Revolution(1911),chinese intellectuals in "wusi"period focused on cultural undertakings and learned the advanced western cultures consciously.So,many western artistic concepts ang philosophy associated since Renaissance influx into China,such as aestheticism,symbolism,romanticism,classicism,expresstionism,futuristicm and so on.Chinese intellectuals involved in the new National culture construction strongly.Meanwhile,they were influenced by Chinese traditional culture deeply.Based on the above, following the principle of seeking truth from facts,refering works of liangshiqiu and papers argued about him and his ideology,in the paper,we try to expund the formation process of liangshiqiu's outlook on life and art,to elebrate his thoughts about the combination of Chinese and Western culture,and to find out the core idea of his thoughts—traditional Confucian idea of moderation.So ,this paper is divided into the following sections:Firstly,to introduce the history,the current situation and the modern sense of researchs about liangshiqiu.Secondly,to elebrate the the kernel of liangshiqiu's philosophy of life-the Confucian idea of modernation.Thirdly.to discuss the constuction process of liangshiqiu's modernation idea.The last,from the perspective view of literary criticism,literary creation and ideas about translation,to discss the fulfilment of liangshiqiu's moderntion idea.The conclusion is that:the kernel of liangshiqiu's thoughts is the Confucian idea of moderation.
