| Yu Xin was a great literature scholar in the South and North Dynasties. He was born in a great age that regime changed frequently. He waywardly spent the first half of his life in Liang dynasty which was peaceful in fifty years, and the sad second half in the Northern Dynasties. Under this specifically historic environment, Yu Xin involuntarily became a emissary of the South and North Cultural blending.People always pay attention to the research of Yu Xin, but mainly focus on the evaluation of his works; the understanding of his homesick after he went to the North; his influence to Tang Dynasty literature. Plenty of academic works and themes have thoroughly studied these problems. In spite of the existing research accomplishments, there are still many problems such as the life of Yu Xin, time of his works and his acquaintances. So on the basis of predecessors' research, first I arrange Yu Xin's life and his works' handing down and edition. Second inspect Yu Xin's acquaintances with his contemporaries. Before he went to the North, the royal family of Liang treated him very well, and he got along with the courtiers well. After he went to the North, there are many courtiers who despised him, although there were still someone treated him sincerely. In the fact, Yu Xin only can comfort each other with the capitulations of Liang. The third part, to avoid repeatability, Yu Xin's states of mind and thoughts were not described comprehensively in this paper. I choose Yu Xin's regretful, lost psychology and the Orientation of the Confucian Thoughts to discuss. In the great change of history, Yu Xin felt depressed, lost and painful. But finally he accepted the truth, began to serve the new court. Although he was painful, he became a important person in the cultural blending progress, contributed a lot for the history, meanwhile his literary achievements have been sublimed. |
