Dmitry Borisovich Kabalevsky(1904-1987),a well-known composer, pianist,music theorist,social activist and educator from the Former Soviet Union.The 24 Preludes for piano was composed on the basis of the Russian folk tunes,combined the different style,vocabulary and the structure perfectly. In this work,I will interpret and analyze the elements of folk songs,composition technique,image of the music,and it divided into three main sections:First Chapter:SummarizationSecond Chapter:Analyzation of Kabalevsky's op.38,24 piano preludesThird Chapter:The proposal for performing and teachingI hope my research could bring some inspiration for musicians and people who love's Kabalevsky.
