Claude Debussy is one of the pioneers of the French impressionist music. This article will talk about the composition style of the "wind" using the examples from the<...Voiles>,<...Le Vent dans la plaine>,<...Ce qu’a vu le vent d’Ouest>from the his work, piano preludes.This article consists3chapters. Chapter One will talk about relationship between Debussy and the impressionist music and a summary of his piano works.the article summarize the impact Debussy has for French impressionist music. Chapter Two describes how Debussy expressed the different characters of "wind" using examples of rhythm, note length, color and motives.Chapter Three discusses the piano techniques of the touch, use of the pedal from a performer point of view to really make the the character and style of "wind" by following the markings on the page.
