The essay aims to analyze"pain"in Bi feiyu's writing."Pain"can be found in Bi feiyu's novels as complex physiological or psychological activities. It, as texture, is also intertwined deeply into his works'content and context. With his sensitivity and sharpness, from many perspectives, Bi feiyu reveals pain out of history and reality, life and survival, human nature and human mind, thus forming a large-scale"pain-writing"even becoming a unique"pain aesthetics"or"pain poetics". This article develops also in this way: Chapter1 starts from a general view to expose the main topic of"pain writing", explaining the relationship between hurt and pain as well as its symptoms, form which Bi feiyu expresses his salvation and compassion ;Chapter2 demonstrates the painful points to children and women from its unique feature, expressing his sympathy and concern to the vulnerable groups by conveying the painful states; Chapter3 focuses on discussing the writing stylistic traits of pain writing: polyphonic writing, and analyzes aesthetic features of polyphonic writing from two perspectives of discourse and rhetoric.
