The creation of Bi feiyu’s novel is highly involvement in reality. His novel,which’s on the basis of reality, is deeply rooted in the write of suffering. The main features of his novel are to write painfully the tragic life. This paper will be divided into three sections to deeply interpret the meaning of pain.Pain is widely existed in his novel characters. The plights of survival of the rural women, urban women, children, people with disabilities, urban drift and other groups are the object of his writing. So firstly combing the pain in the first part of Bi feiyu’s novel is done, which includes: people who have doubts about the traditional history, victims of history, the man who asked for a caste, the hardships of rural women’s survival, the self lost of urban women and the lack of sense of social edge people. The second part is to discuss the problem of representing the pain in Bi feiyu’s novel, including power, collective unconsciousness and individual conflict,the influence of traditional culture, the reality of unable to escape from ear and the gender oppression from men. The important content of this article is to overcome the pain, this also is the main content to discuss in the third section of this paper. For the writer, writing pain is a radical kind of brave behavior to overcome it. The intervention of posture shows the writer’s position against the pain, and the writer using his own language and narrative shows a series of characters of people suffering the pain, they show the world the best answer to overcome the pain.Close reading is chosen as the basis of this paper. To pain for clues, this paper grasp the unique of Bi feiyu’s novel on the whole, and integrated use of a variety of research methods to enrich the current study the novel in the scope of the existing achievements of Bi feiyu.
