Love is the ethnical relationships of emotional tension and speech value in human relations. Different narrative models of love embody the author's pursuit of narrative ethics, judgments of moral values, choices of culture position, appeal of aesthetic style, and so on. Taking narrative ethics as a starting point and relevant theories of body studies as basis, this paper tries to clarify the outline of narration of love affairs in contemporary fictions, delineate the development course of narrative ethics of love, and finally display its basic characteristics. In general, the meeting of body and soul runs through in the whole course all the time during the narrative ethics of love affairs in contemporary fictions. To put it in more detail, the"love"and"sex"in human heart as essence of love experience are always masked by the author's narrative appeal of sociality and culture and manifested as"unbearable body"in 80s'fictions , while they are often unfolded as"lost soul"or"absent soul"with the trend of desire narration and body writing in 90s'fictions. However, these narrations are simultaneously interspersed with some other important expressions and appeals, like the separation and combination of soul and body, the loss and salvation of sex and love, the limitation and infinity of soul and body, the necessity and possibility of transition from soul to the state of unity of mind and body, and so forth. All these signify the achieved depth and height of narrative ethics of love affairs in this period. Meanwhile, the conflict of soul and body, the fight between evil and good, as well as the bout of living and death, are both opposite and complementary to each other and thus present us endless historical course and writing processing.
