A Lai, who was born in northwest Sichuan Tibet area, has diligently made the important contribution to the Tibet Contemporary Chinese literature development with his tireless exploration. Ma Yuan has also published many works which take the Tibet territory life as the backing. Meanwhile, Ma Yuan lived in Tibet for seven years (from 1982 to 1989), which plays an important even a decisive role in his creation. But researchers' vision mainly concentrated in Ma Yuan's narrative art and the latter modern orientation.The discussion and the research carried on his intrinsic spiritual pursue were quite few. Although the works of A Lai and Ma Yuan were not produced at the same time, the analysis and elaboration of the creation difference utilizing comparison research method as a result of the nationality and individual angle of view has certain significance and the value.Because they all take Tibet or the Tibet territory life prospect as the creation background.Two writer's creations which present the different cultural connotation and the spiritual pursue as well as the narrative style have provided the enough space and the possibility for the research.The thesis divides into three chapters except the introduction and the conclusion. The introduction part altogether divides into three sections, the first section clarifies the important concept which uses in the paper, namely the concept which refers that Tibet is a cultural concept but is not an administrative regionalization concept. The second section carries on simple combing to the Tibet present age Chinese novel development with the summary. The third section discusses the paper's objective point and the writing mentality. The First chapter, Tibet territory life: The identical impression being unlike a visual threshold, divides into three sections. The first section, the son of Jia Rung and the Han people who lived in a strange or foreign place, introduces A Lai and Ma Yuan's original biography experience and creation situation. The second section, the presentation of Snowy Land Culture, and the third section, contradictory creation point of view, summarize A Lai and Ma Yuan's creation that is something in common. The other two chapters of the paper analyze the diversities of the two writers through the concrete text analysis with comparison research, and will carry on the brief summary in the ending in each chapter. The second chapter, the journey of spirit: The introspection and the pilgrimage, discusses the different spiritual pursue and the cultural connotation presented in A Lai and Ma Yuan's works. The first section, A Lai's native place introspection, summarizes the intrinsic implication of A Lai's works through the dust flies upwards with deep regret, different historical writing, baring the unimportant person's survival condition, the desire expression and destiny ponder. The second section, Ma Yuan's pilgrimage in Tibet, discusses Ma Yuan's spiritual pursue and the in-depth implication in his creation. Ma Yuan's seven years experience that lives in Tibet is a pilgrimage. He experienced a difficult course from kowtowing the Tibet culture to attempting to melt in it even to helpless return. This was an inward secret anguish of writer. His works that take Tibet as the background are all covered by one kind of lonely thought. But the western travel of exploration of Ma Yuan was not really without whatever be attained. The subject seeking masculine and advocating strength is continued in his works.
