Analysis Of The Metaphorical Usage Of Mongolian Body Language

The cognitive linguistic argues that metaphor is the basic method of human communication and the basic way of human thought. Metaphor means that man explore abstract thing through concrete thing. The way of human thinking which usually understand thing from far to near, phenomenon to essence, simple to complication decide that the human body and argon is the base of the cognitive world. Man touch the other conception by their body, experience and feelings. In this way metaphor of human body is a kind of notional metaphor. This thesis tries to explore the basis of cognition and its rule by analyzing the Mongolian body language and organ by using the theory of metaphor of cognitive linguistics. Research says that the metaphorical usage of Mongolian body language is based on the experience and relation of the metaphorical usage of Mongolian body language and the objective world according to the similarities and relation between different notions. There are four ways of cognition in the development of metaphorical usage of Mongolian body language.
