The rise of the Female Disciples of Yuan Mei is an important milestone in the history of women's literature in Qing dynasty. This association's popularity, high achievement and wide distribution of members is rare in the history of women's literature in China. Xi Peilan, is the most representative disciple of Yuan Mei.As a descendant of two famous cultural Lineages in ChangshuCounty------The Surname Xi in the Dongting Mountain and the BookCollecting Family------the Surname Zhang, being the wife of one of threemajor scholors in Emperor Qianlong------Sun Yuanxiang , Xi Peilan hadthe unique condition of becoming a giant. Her life can be divided into six periods: hard-studing life in boudoir, early marriage life, living in Shangdang County, raising children, helping her husband to pass the examination to select officials and the happy twilight years.Women benefitted a lot from the flourishing literature in Qing Dynasty, which could be seen from the female disciples of Yuan Mei. It was the literature environment during Qianlong and Jiaqing period in Qing dynasty that caused the appearance of the Female Disciples of Yuan Mei. Thanks to her teacher Yuan Mei's appreciation, Xi Peilan became the most excellent female disciple, but this honor must mostly attributed to her hard working and her always writing ingenious poems.Xi Peilan not only made friends with her women relatives but all had association with local talents and celebrities. Her main friends were Li Xiu, Xie Cuixia, Qu Bingjun, Gui Maoyi, Wu weiguang and Chen Wenshu. Xi Peilan was good at writing poetry in all the style. Her vision was relatively wide and her content is more generous. Xi Peilan's every word was out of spirit. She made good use of simple and straightforward style of writing. Her poems were extremely fluency, full of imagination and vitality; Her description was vivid and very interesting. She had inherited Yuan Mei's hsingling theoretic view on writing poetry, and positively utilizes it in writing. Xi Peilan inherited Yuan Mei's view on writing poems and put it into practice, she is the crown of the female disciple of Yuan Mei.
