Guangchang "MengXi" belongs to the clan plays ,which mainly for thanksgiving the clan's ancestors and gods, and with certain kinds of performances ceremony and ritual, it's really full of cultural connotation. As an ancient cultural heritage of local opera, Guangchang "MengXi" has unique values of art, history and sociology. This article will take Guangchang "MengXi" for case,to research the source of the text for both Zeng and Liu "MengXi" from the start of the origins,spreads and evolutions of Meng Jiangnv story. And then conduct a comprehensive study on the problems of the history of the community,Clan structure,Clan shrine-festivals and traditional ceremony customs,contents and performing style of the play in the town Ganzhu of Guangchang, to explore the Meng Jiangnv story which was born in north how to spread and evolve in the form of folk opera in this particular region.And analyze the process of mutual infiltrating and bonding between the folk culture of the region and the story,then further reveal the law of attachments and evolutions of national Meng Jiangnv story in the context of different regional culture.
