As a very old industrial center, Zibo has a very important strategic and economical position in history. Especially its mine industry drives the improvement of china, glass, metallurgical industry and so on. Early in the Ming and Qing dynasties handicraft industry style mines had appeared in Zibo.Since the emerging of Zibo miners, they had always been oppressed and exploited by imperialism, capitalist, mine owners and landlords. Their working condition was very bad, and they were really poor. For a long time, Zibo miners had been struggled for freedom.According to the recording, from the middle of the Ming Dynasty, many resistant struggle had broken out in the mines. The rulers were afraid of them. The miner groups were not strong enough, and the struggle style was backward. They could only attack the rulers a bit. They couldn't change their lives fundamentally. Up to the year 1921, Communist Party of China came into the history stage, the situation could be changed. The feature is prominent during the First Civil, the Second Civil and the anti-Japanese War.At first, in order to struggle against mine owners and capitalists, and uphold their own safety and lives, Zibo miners adopted primitive and feudal struggling styles. Afterwards influenced by "May 4 Movement", they began to learn technology and culture and at last moved to seize for liberation. But all these struggling ways couldn't change their destination. The most important is that the miners hadn't realized that they had come into being as a class, and they didn't realize the resources of their bitter life. They didn't realize their history mission, either. So they were non- organization. After the establishment of the Communist Party of China, on June25, 1922 , with the help of Wang Jinmei and Wang Yongzhang, Zibo miners trade union was set up. Later after that, in 1923 the Communist Party Branch was set up. This meant that a new period had come. Trade unions developed very quickly in the mines and Marxism Spread during miners. Miners had their own belief, aim and class consciousness. They realized that they existed as a class, they also realized the resources of their bitter life. They realized their history mission, too. They started a new kind of struggle. The miners struggle came into a new stage.Watching back to the three struggling stages, Zibo miners struggled from non-realization, non-organization to the period led by the trade union and the party. These showed that Zibo miners were improving. And the party's leading ability is strong. It also showed us that the party is the key of all the activities.
