In this paper, we try to find out the innovatetive design ideas and methods through the embroidery pattern, colour and techniques in the traditional costumes as well as the special culture from former, which means that make a breakthough in thinking formulary of traditional embroidery, and make a combination from traditional materials with modern by the use of advanced technology and the corresponding tools, and then have a compromises of traditional techques and modern techniques; furthermore, to empolder the national characteristics of fashion products after to apply modern design ideas on modern clothing; finally, make an innovative prospect on traditional embroidery and explore how the traditional embroidery to be applied in fashion design multi-directionally and tridimensionally as a fashion design method in China even the world.
