Early European United in Europe epoch-making significance in the history of this period and laid the initial direction of the European Union and models. European countries from the United idea to practice had undergone a long and tortuous process. This article is based on the French which made outstanding contributions to the early European integration to study and research.French Foreign Minister in 1950 put forward the famous"Schuman Plan", in 1951, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg set up the European Coal and Steel Community Organization, which established mechanisms for cooperation beyond the purely inter-European cooperation and had laid a solid foundation in Europe economic integration. French Prime Minister Puri suggested Europe set up a unified army in October 1950, the newly established one of the Federal Republic of Germany also joined. France and Germany after a six-nation negotiations signed the"European Defense Community"in 1952.Because the Defense Community could avoid the introduction of a separate armed Germany, which made by external forces and lacked of foundation. The French National Assembly rejected the European Defense Community in 1954.After the European defense group and related political community plan fails, representatives of six countries in Rome signed the"Treaty of Rome"on March 25, 1957, which was adopted at the end of 1957 and began formal implementation on January 1, 1958. The Rome Treaty signed a leap of the process of European integration. In 1958, Charles de Gaulle returned to power, he wanted to get rid of the United States'control, he hated supranational European Union, he wanted to safeguard the independence and the French leadership in Europe. Charles de Gaulle in accordance with his own idea to contrive the European United blueprints. Germany was one of essential part of, so accelerated the pace of cooperation between the two countries. France and Germany put cooperation as the foundation of European integration.This article is from in the early days of European integration experienced by a process to describe and analyzes the contribution. From the"European Union plans"to"the European Economic Community", French play a important role. The French became an early leader in the European integration. It can be said, there is no French there would be no European integration.
