Wuhuan was one of the important minority of the northern region of ancient China. because of their own dispersed and no independent political power, its relations with surrounding nations has become so complex. In this paper, we will analysis and explore the relationship between Wuhuan and the Central Plains, the Huns, Xianbei from different perspectives.In political aspects, Wuhuan formed amilitary alliance with Yuanshaos' power by marriage, in order to make Wuhuan to serve the centraldominion, the centraldominion dynasty destroyed the relationship between Wuhuan and other nationalities. In economic aspect, through Wuhuan and the central plains exchanges, the social life of Wuhuan was affected tremendously. Inmilitary aspect, the war between Wuhuan and the centraldominion never ceased. In ethnic aspect, the Han nationalitys' moving out and the Wuhuans' three large-scale inner movements made Wuhuan and the Han nationnality live together, finally Wuhuanwas assimilated into the Han nationality.With the Wuhuan, seconomic development and the deepened degree of contaction with the Central Plains, the relationship development between the Huns and Wuhuan mainly show from the first fully succumbed to the Huns gradually breaking away from the Huns and turn the submit to the authority of the Central Plains.Xianbei and Wuhuan show with similar life habits and considerable forces, both sides sometimes in the military alliance, and sometimes conflict.The changes of Wuhuan and surrounding ethnic relations have both inside and outside cause.it also the requirement of self-development are. From the governing laws of the development of ethnic relations in ancient China, the weaker nation in its initial stage always depend on a powerful government, in order to survival and development.Therefore, the Wuhuan dependent on Huns was simple passive military subdued, but on the central plains were the living requirements and attracted by the advanced material and cultural life of Central Plains. Meanwhile, the change of a powerful force in regime would affect the adjustments of the ethnic relations. Weak and small nations more vulnerable to a strong regime dependent, for the gradual weakening of the regime, are more rebellious and combat. On the surrounding Wuhuan's administration, the submition of not only a pioneer of powerful military but also a powerful weapon to hold the opponent side. Therefore, Wuhuan also become the their object of rope.
