In the Zhou dynasty, between the Yellow River and the Huai River, there were many vassal states appointed by the zhou royal family. This paper arranged and researched the bronze inscriptions in ten countries that were active in the Central Plains from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Spring and Autumn Period. The ten countries were Wei,Xu,Chen,Ying,Hu,Zheng,Cai,Song,Fan,Guo,hereafter referred to as the ten countries in the Central Plains. The inscriptions of the ten countries in the Central Plains between the Yellow River and Huai River were typical representatives of the bronze inscriptions in the cultural circle of the Central Plains, which was also an important part of the bronze inscriptions in the Eastern Zhou and the Western Zhou Dynasties. The style features of the bronze inscriptions in the ten countries in the Central Plains have significantly changed from the early Western Zhou Dynasty to the late Spring and Autumn Period, which has a clear relationship with the historical evolution of in the Eastern Zhou and the Western Zhou Dynasties. The arrangement and research of the bronze inscriptions of the ten countries in the Central Plains located between the Yellow River and the Huai River are of great significance to Understanding and exploring historical changes in the region and study the rise and fall of the Zhou Dynasty from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Spring and Autumn period.Subdomain study of inscriptions is an important method of current inscriptions research. And the Central Plains region is an important source of Chinese civilization. At present, the academic circles have paid more and more attention to the research on the inscriptions in the Central Plains. Therefore, this paper took the centrally-named bronzes of the ten countries in the Central Plains as the research objects, collected, arranged, explores and analyzed them systematically. The main content of this paper including the following aspects:I.In this paper, the named bronzes in the ten countries of the Central Plains were comprehensively collected, classified and arranged. On the basis of fully grasping the archaeological materials and the results of the latest research, whether the nationality of the bronzes collected by previous people was correct was judged.New copper bronzes published in recent decades were recorded to identify the nationality of those bronzes with a dissident. For example, some scholars believed that the bronzes such as Wangziying secondary furnace,Jingshu Xu,Jing Shu Pan and so on should be considered to be from Zheng.According to this research, these pieces are not from Zheng. The creator of Wangziying secondary furnace is likely to be from the country of Chu.Uncle Jing of Jingshu Xu is not the Uncle Jing,DukeZhuang of Zheng's younger brother.Shenzita Gui was considered to be from Shen before, but after some scholars researched,"Shenzi" is the meaning of "Chongzi",and the bronze should be from Fan.Jiang Xiaozhongmu Sheng Ting was considered to be from Jiang by the old researchers, but it was researched in this paper that this bronze should be from Zheng,it was a bronze of Shi,a son of Duke Wen of Zheng in the early Spring and Autumn Period, and his mother's family name is Jiang.II.The results of the latest research on ancient characters,to correct the shortcomings of the interpretations of various schools. After revising the interpretations, the key words in the inscriptions from the ten countries in the Central Plains were annotated, and the difficult words in them were studied. The former scholars have studied the key and difficult words in the inscriptions from the ten countries in the Central Plains a lot,but the results were scattered, and not convenient for contemporary scholars. This paper summarized the opinions of various scholars and compared the gains and losses to see whether they were correct. For example, according to the research on the characters "Fan" and "Tong" in the oracle bones inscriptions by Mr.Wang Ziyang, the bronzes from Fan in the Western Zhou Dynasty were carefully discriminated.Scholars' opinions on the inscriptions on Shenzita Gui was synthesized,to read the inscriptions by sentences again, and so on.III.The difficult problems existing in the inscriptions of the ten countries in the Central Plains were researched.Among these difficult problems, there were not only the interpretation of difficult words, the dating of bronze ware, but also the study of historical figures in bronze ware,as well as the study of historical problems related to the ten countries of the Central Plains. In the research of ancient writings, this paper researched the inscriptions of Huyingji Ting,Weifanboyifu Ting,Madame Wei Ge,Zheng Zi'er Ding,Zheng Bao Ding and other instruments, and Put forward your own words. For example, the old "ci" of Hu Yingji Ding should be interpreted as "?";(?) The "(?)" in Fan Boyi's father's tripod is read as "?",this device is a device of the country in the late Spring and Autumn Period; The word "(?)" may be an ancient text used in ancient Chinese characters to represent "repeated","overlapping",and "heavy" characters. Its glyphs and meanings are closely related to the funeral system of "shi" in the Yin and Zhou dynasties;"Mrs.Wei" should be the wife of Wei Huigong;"Zheng Bo" in Zheng Bozheng should be Zheng Wugong. In terms of comprehensive research, this paper combines new materials published in Jane,in the historical geography of Xu,Chen,Ying,Cai and Song Research on places where there are objections, and put forward opinions on the eastward migration of Zheng Guo in the West WeekendAnd analyze the special phenomenonof marriage with the same surname in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.IV.Based on the inscriptions of 513 bronzes included in this paper, the ' Index Table on Historical Materials of Ten Countries in the Central Plains' ' was compiled,in which, there are name index, geographical name index, intermarriage index, official index and bronze name index,in order to provide convenience for related researchers. The above four aspects are the main contents of this paper.Because my knowledge is weak, there may be many improprieties in the description, and there may be a shortage of information to the new theory.I hope this paper can be criticized and corrected by experts and scholars,in order to guide the ones who are eager to learn.
