The Grammaticalization Of 'Yilai' And Relevant Issues Research

This paper chiefly discuss the three forms of'Yilai'of modern Chinese. It mainly contains: referential phrase; conjunction and particle. Reference to the existing literature, we found that the study of information about'Yilai'is extremely rare, so this paper is based on examples and the theory as a guide to have detailed descriptions and analysis about the form of the three. At the same time, we discuss these three forms from the angle of synchronic and diachronic for an in-depth study, and their functions from the discourse to conduct.In the first chapter, we describe the expression and meanings of the three forms of'Yilai'from syntactic, semantic and pragmatic. We make a research in'Yilai'as a conjunction and particle on the part of grammaticalization and point out their motivation in chapter two. In chapter three, we investigate the functions in discourse of'Yilai'as a conjunction and particle.
