All long, the vocabulary teaching is one link which is paid much attention in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. It is self-evident that the two types of vocabularies have a close bearing on the development and cultivation of the second language learners'language skills.At present ,there are a lot of theses and monographs on the research of second language learners'acceptive vocabulary and productive vocabulary at home and abroad,which is a good guidance to foreign language teaching.Nevertheless,the research findings on Chinese as a second language are not quite rich.On the research of productive vocabularies,most scholars tend to show solicitate for the learners'stagnation after the intermediate stage of vocabulary studying(namely"fossilization"mentioned in the text).Furthermore, the correlation studies more or less occurs in the foreign language world. Inland the research about productive vocabulary of Chinese learners'learning strategies and influencing factors ,and so on .And there are many achievement on this aspect. But the researches on elementary Chinese learners'vocabulary are not so productive.Sun Xiaoming(2002) did some research ,made an investigation of the mechanism of the productive vocabulary.This text is aimed on making some research on elementary Chinese learners'productive vocabulary. And it consists of five chapters: The first chapter is to introduce and arrange the research about productive vocabulary before.The second chapter introduces the process of the corpus'collection, arrangement and dimension,in addition,it also shows some phenomenons during the process of achieving the productive vocabularies.The third chapter is the concrete illustration of the process achieving the productive vocabularuy, introducing the word-frequency in the corpus, the text discribes their levels and class.And it discribes some bias phenomenons of the productive vocabulary from the perspective of lexical semantics, next the text tries to give reasonable explanations.The fourth chapter explains more concretely from their separate discription of free productive vocabulary and controlled productive vocabulary ,comparing their class, level and diversity. Next the text studies the factors which affect the producting of the vocabulary.The last chapter comprehensively examines the above results, and illustrate some Enlightenment to the current research, including foreign language teaching, the writing of foreign language teaching materials and further studies for the productive vocabulary.
