The End of Art which was argued in 1817 by Hegel has a profound affection, and this theory has been developed and re-interpretation by Heidegger, Adorno and Danto who based on their own artistic and social environment. This paper consider the Hegel's "End of Art" has two foundations, one are the theories of Negation of Art which lie in the history of western artistic and aesthetics theories, anther is the Hegel's philosophical system. On the one hand, if we sort out the clues of development which from the Negation of Art to the Hegel's End of Art, we can understand the negation of art is a driving force and another way of the development of western art. On the other hand, this paper focuses on the "though" of the which written by Hegel and analyses it, through this work we can reduce the "End of Art" in the whole ideology of Hegel and discover more meanings of this theory. Finally this paper argues that the End of Art also has an important implication under the circumstance of current Chinese aesthetics and art theories. Not only it indicates the extinction of art in china but also it is a procession and a model in the mutual communication of Chinese and western artistic and aesthetic theories.
