For decades of years, she is keeping on writing the rhythm of her own heart.The thesis tries to explore the forms of freedom and expression of Wang Xiaoni's poems from three aspects.The first chapter is mainly about her poems' images, keeping to the white and black tone which is reflected by the images. It illustrates the subtle change of spirits shown in the works. The using of simple two colors matches her poems' style-the picture is gorgeous for its simple and clear colors, and shows her dying on freedom in the colorless images.The second chapter goes straight to her poems' themes. Surrounding the theme of "flying birds" comes the analysis of how she can skim low under huge pressure in the aspect of her philosophy of poems and life-the humble attitude of human and birds. From diversified perspectives concealed in the poems, it aims to discern her search for freedom and capture of freedom in the course of low flight.Focusing on the form of poems, the author develops the third chapter through the context of the poet's personal experience, sticking to her own situation and fat.She employs colloquial words with puns, which is the resonance to the sound of freedom in her heart. The emotion hidden in the words makes a contribution to the themes.Through the analysis of images, themes and forms in Wang Xiaoni's poems,the whole thesis tries to restore her hard strive for freedom, and represent the freedom showed in the restraint. Though her poems do not stand a dominant position in current poetry, her earnest persistence to poetry and ceaseless exploration to the sense of freedom breath fresh air into the poetry with no consciousness, at the same time, provide a new kind of writing strategy for the development of modern verse.
