On Artistic Characteristics Of Tang Opera

Tang Opera is one of the most important opera forms in China. He inherits and develops the Tangshan shadow figures music and the melody foundation; utilizes and profits from the traditional opera's performance form, as well as the development of folk dance in the East of Hebei Province. Its prosperous and the development could not be separated from historical and the time background. The article has further analyzed the Tang Opera regional characteristic from the understanding of Tangshan's history, geography and history humanities; Through analyzing the artistic atmosphere in which the Tang Opera forms, it discusses the foundation of the forming of the characteristics in Tang Opera; From aspects of melody, song lyrics, beat, music, performance form, it analyzes and detailedly elaborates the Tang Opera artistic characteristic with typical plays. Finally, through analyzing current situation of local opera, it further forecast the prospects of Tang Opera.
