The Longgang Qin-slips, is another important archaeological discovery of the statutes in Qin after in 1975 when the Shuihudi Qin-slips was discoved,and is the most systematical excavated law documents of Qin Dynasty except the Shuihudi Qin-slips.The batch of Qin slips have not only inestimable value in laws research,but great value on Chinese history,because it is a true record of the language and words of Qin Dynasty.This paper,in which the Longgang Qin-slips is the object of study, adopts a way of monograph study, attempts to reveal the actual situation and the historical position on language exercise in Qin Dynasty by classification and a combining way of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,and research both from accidence and syntax.The shesis made up of four chapters. Chapter one, introduction, briefly describes the excavation and arrangement, research actuality and research methods on the Longgang Qin-slips.Chapter two, accidence (â… )-notional study, comprehensive computes frequency of nouns, verbs, adjectives, numerals, quantifiers and pronouns in the Longgang Qin-slips,and detailed analyses the grammatical features and grammatical function of each type of substantive. Chapter three, accidence (â…¡)-empty word studuy,computes frequency of adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions, auxiliary function words,and one by one analyses the grammatical meaning and grammatical function every empty word. Chapter four,syntaw made up of two parts.In phrase structure analysis,the discourse at length lists each phrase structure type in the Longgang Qin-slips,and analyses the grammatical function of them;In syntactic function study, the discourse detailed analyses the various structural types. that can act as subject, predicate and modifier, complement.
