Realistic oil painting which rooted in China and was accepted by the masses can not do without several generations of realist painters their efforts. Throughout the course of development of realism oil paintings in China, at different times, realistic oil paintings are carrying a different historical mission. The work shows the Chinese oil painter who adhere to the realistic technique to show the reality theme, with a native language, to express national spirit, so that works time and Chinese characteristics. Realistic oil paintings created for a more open, broad, integrated platform. The paper consists of three chapters.The first chapter, course of development of realism oil paintings in China and localization performance, consists of two parts. Sectionâ… discusses the development of realistic painting in China, the history of the introduction of Chinese painting which can be traced back to Ming and Qing period. And then after 1911 Revolution, May Fourth Movement, anti-Japanese war, the liberation war, the Cultural Revolution, reform and opening up until today, realist painting has been acting as social responsibility, and withstood the baptism of history. Sectionâ…¡describes the localization of realistic painting in China, the performance of several generations of artists to study Western painting techniques of language and realistic at the same time, blending traditional Chinese national spirit, to find out a realistic painting of the Chinese localization path.Chapterâ…¡, the case of contemporary realist painting, is the focus of this paper, composed by four sections. From Sectionâ… toâ…£in chronological order or painter language features as a clue, introduced the eight contemporary realist painters' creative background, personal painting language of form and features of the works. First section examines the Jin Shangyi, Yang Feiyun Institute, represented by realism oil paintings, Sectionâ…¡, analyzed by Wang Yidong, Ai Xuan, represented by local realism painting by Liu Xiaodong Sectionâ…¢analysis, Xin Dongwang for the representative of the new realism oil paintings. Sectionâ…£is concerning Shichong and Lengjun who are the representative of the super-realist painting. Through analysis of contemporary realist painting factions discussed, we have a realistic painting overall understanding and awareness.We can more deeply understand the value and realistic significance of oil painting by the analysis other artists and their works factions.Chapter III, the Chinese contemporary oil painting realistic problems and development strategies, composes of two sections of this chapter.
