Embracing The Censer

Censer is not a product first created during the Song Dynasty, but the "Ya'"quality has been endued with ever since. Cultural emphases had created a group of academics which became the core members of the "Ya" cultural.Whether in the study room or in a gathering, Song porcelain Censer had became this inner world of objects they accommodate, and the Song scholar-essential things in life. The earliest history of incense can be traced back to the Neolithic pottery, the Shang and Zhou Bronze Age, "Ding" is one of the examples. Song censers not only inherit, but developed from the former generations of incense,and formed a relatively complete set of incense burner category, such as a ceramic incense burner category, after which the Yuan, Ming and Qing incense burner made by the reference. The classical charm, fine elegant and approachable beauty becomes the essential aesthetic of the Song Dynasty porcelain.
