Studies Of The Usage Of Self Language In Oil Painting

This thesis analyses and presents the self language of oil painting. Upon combing my own painting experiences and analysis of the success of former artists, I wish to raise the importance of'self language'in oil painting composition. The investigation of'self language'within oil painting can be carried out by combining a series of different methods. This article will analyse from both the technical point of view and the psychological side, as well as analyse the self language of other artists, and finally discussing my own experience. Through these aspects and details I wish to find the gateway of developing a self language.The self language within a painting is changeable, and this kind of change can be cause by all sorts of factors. However, no matter what kind of self language is presented, it must be the real reflection of the true self of the artist. Through the growth of an artist, his language is also bound to change, and during this process it is hard to avoid going a wrong direction. Thus the aim of this thesis is not only to investigate the ways of developing and self language, but to also bring out more adventurous innovations and breakthoughs in oil painting through the development of the artist.
