"Pen and ink" is a kind of art form of Chinese landscape painting, it occupies the important position in Chinese painting. Traditional Chinese painting’s main language is ink painting performance, it is the modelling language of Chinese painting, the artist expresses the spirit of emotion bearer, is an artist and view ICONS used in the special language of thought and emotion communication. The use of pen and ink is unique to Chinese painting, the most representative of national style. Chinese landscape painting is very pay attention to the use of ink, the quality of images of ink capability determines the image of whether whether artistically vivid, artistic conception far-reaching, pen and ink landscape painting are most can represent a time cultural spirit, it also will landscape of formal beauty and real landscape out of the spiritual connotation of performance, it is both a means and drawing symbols, modelling is also independent of language, embodies the unique spirit of pen and ink.When the ink in the language of landscape painting paintings from the most basic forms and techniques of performance, sublimation to the painting is the expression of feelings, it has the profound connotation of traditional culture.
