The Research On Poetry Of Wei Ye

Wei Ye was a famous reclusive poet in the initial stages of the North Song Dynasty. Wei Ye's poetry anthology of CaoTang (ten volume) was handed down for generations. After his death,his son had rearranged his works to poetry anthology of JuLuDongGuan(ten volume). Wei Ye was open-minded. He was insisted on his faith of reclusion, and made friends with all classes of people at the same time. His works has had typical character of "WanTang style" in initial stages of the North Song Dynasty, and also showed variety of other styles.This paper will make a systemic study on the thought content and artistic characteristics of works, combining life experience and individual character of the poet himself. The thesis has tried to study the inclusive thought of the poet by the introduce of Wei Ye's reclusive life and the contents of the works. On the other hand, it started from " WanTang style" in initial stages of the North Song Dynasty, to analyze the rich arts features of these works by the way of Literature Appreciation and Comparative Study.
