The thesis attempted by explaining the "thirst" in Chenjingrong's poetry, to delve into her unique life consciousness as a female poet who had presented some kind of "masculinity" in her creation and her paradoxical finding in her life experience, in order to excavate a more living core spirit of the poet, who is the important one of "Jiuye". The thesis was divided into three chapters: Chapter one:The origins of Chenjingrong's "thirst" consciousnessThis chapter was divided into two parts:The first part:the poet's traumatic emotional experience:Chenjingrong went through a long process of tribulation and misfortune, and these unfortunately experience had the universality of female life experience, and the uniqueness of her own "traumatic emotional experience". This part explained the origins of Chenjingrong's life consciousness by combing and analyzing her traumatic emotional experience, including analyzing the reason of her "masculinity"'s appearance in her works; The second part:the intellectual pursuit on the basis of converging feelings):by means of analyzing influences of the ideas guiding creation and works of Charles Baudelaire,Rainer Maria Rilke.etc to Chenjingrong, this part explained the psychological motivation of her "thirst" consciousness'emergence and development. Chapter two:the presence of Chenjingrong's "thirst" consciousnessThis chapter mainly discussed kinds of appearances and expressions of Chenjingrong's "thirst" consciousness. The poet's "thirst" consciousness was a kind of dynamic process of recycling and strengthening of her emotion's brewing and distillation, suppression and outbreak. By analyzing the words, images and the expressions of the rhythms of the poetry, I attempted to discuss the expressions of the poet's "thirst" consciousness from in the following:1. the symphony of love and "storm"; 2. the variation of "private room" and city; 3. the paradoxical present of cold with warm contrast; 4. personal mastery. Chapter three:the evolution of Chenjingrong's "thirst" consciousnessThis chapter attempted to analyze the mentality's evolutionary process of Chenjingrong (thirsty→quench her thirst→more and more thirsty), combing the poet's creative style's variation tendency in different period and her life's twists and turns. I considered that the poet's "thirst" consciousness's solving approach could be summarized as the process of her psychology's dynamic change and development, "embracing→throwing→transcending". Intheend, her life "thirst" consciousness bynomeans arrived at solution, but the poems' development progress which reflected Chenjingrong's mentality changes, "thirsty→quench her thirst→more and more thirsty", was unceasing and exceeding forever. In other words, chenjingrong's emancipated "thirst" was just about her newborn "thirst" and such the process expressed the more vibrant core spirit of her poetry.
