The Research On Chinese Harp (Guqin) Arts In Tang Poetry

In this thesis, we choose the poems about ancient Chinese harp (Guqin) as the main object, discuss the art of ancient Chinese harp (Guqin) in Tang Poetry based on the documents of music.In the introduction, the research purpose, object, area and method, theory and practice significance of this paper are introduced, the overview of current progress in related studies is also presented. Chapter 1 is focused on the information in various aspects about ancient Chinese harp (Guqin) of the Tang Dynasty from the poems about ancient Chinese harp (Guqin), such as the information about the selection of musical instruments, variety and material of the marks (phoneme symbol of the strings), pegs (columellas that securing the strings and regulating their tension) and liners(). Chapter 2 combs and examines the tunes which are played by the ancient Chinese harp (Guqin) and recorded in the poems about ancient Chinese harp (Guqin), then gives a systematic general outline and analysis of the tunes played by the ancient Chinese harp (Guqin) in the Tang Dynasty. Chapter 3 checks the players that are recorded in the poems about ancient Chinese harp (Guqin), and classifies them into five categories according to their status:professional player, literary intelligentsia, Buddhist and Taoists, hermit, and people of other status, finally expounds their effects on he ancient Chinese harp (Guqin) music of the Tang Dynasty. Chapter 4 summarizes the fingering and etc.This article attempts to faithfully represent the diverse aspects of the art of ancient Chinese harp (Guqin) in Tang Poetry and grasps the development trend of ancient Chinese harp (Guqin) in the Tang Dynasty accurately.
