Clothing is created to meet our own needs when human society has developed to a certain period, and with the development of social production and the progress of civilization, is continuously enriched. Clothing is a necessity for human survival, but also a part of human civilization. Economic integration in the world has brought opportunities and challenges to our garment industry, so garment enterprises need to strengthen the internal mechanisms of the organizational structure.Some clothing-related theoretical system is not real perfect, therefore, we must improve the theoretical research in this field in order to promote the development of education and enhance the garment business competitiveness.According to the investigation and study on an abundance of psychology, sociology, anthropology, aesthetics and other related documents, this paper formed a theoretical framework of psychological research on our modern youth personal dress. After analyzed and compared the social clothing phenomenon, research and distinguish between the characteristics of normal and abnormal of dressing mental phenomenon. At the same time, analyze the cases which take young individuals as the research object to study the individual's dress motivation of our youth, as well as the psychological factors that affect their dress. Hope that through this paper research can provide a better understanding to garment enterprises of consumer psychology and aspirations of youth, and some reference to make the target market segmentation and brand marketing.
