Artistic Expression Of Female Characters In Erhu Works

With the recent decades of development and prosperity of Erhu music, Erhu folk instruments began to be loved by many people, and its creative works also made great achievements. A large proportion of theme works among the Erhu folk achievements are related to women yet, such as traditional music "Moon Palace", depicts the Han palace maid's grief, sadness, and bitterness. Additionally, "Lan Hua Hua Narrate Melody" which adapted from Northern Shaanxi folk songs shapes a beautiful, kind, innocent rural girl, and also narrates her tragedy love. Furthermore, this melody shows a sturdily character that people fight for their freedom of marriage and good life, against with the feudal ethical code at the expense of precious lives. In addition, the research of women arts in Erhu highlights the more native characters of the contemporary Chinese women in their arts, where adopting women's unique perspective and speaking methods to construct more traditional flavor, the spirit of humanism, and moving Erhu melody. Thus, Erhu music in the new historical opportunity may attain more brilliant achievements. There is abundance of choices in the Erhu's theme works, for example, narrative, drawing landscape, lyrical, the expression of emotion, and so on. Specially, the compositions involve character shaping, and usually combine the folklore, or the text, the stage image, and using narrative structure, provides a good reference for us to study the characters in Erhu's works. Therefore, the article bases on the previous studies, but analyses the women's characters and emotional expression. Hoping to find a novel way to performance and appreciate Erhu works, this paper provides a reference for other players'creation, also helps audience mold the image in the music in their mind and feel the spiritual power in the works better.The paper includes three parts:overview, text and conclusion.To accurately define the related concepts in the text, making papers smooth writing, mainly from the erhu art and the development of existing researches, and the development of feminine art and existing research results and the research value in these aspects, as well as succession of their predecessors' thought, the overview of this paper exploits its own viewpoint. The originality of the article topics, through the study of women's art in other fields, is extended to the erhu works to fill in the blank in this area.The two chapters of the issue begin with the descriptions and portrayal of female images in the other sisters' art of the same period, analyze betterly the characteristics of female images in Erhu works, reflect the inner emotion of character, through an understanding of changes in women's social status and differences of marriage and family brought by different social thought, as well as the different impacts on fate of characters resulted from changes of women's culture. In the Interpretation of Erhu music, it analyze the works in terms of the reflection of figures' emotion, the plot descriptions, environmental statements and so on, adopting the method different with those depent on the use of performance and special analysis of music ontology. The description conveying out of music ontology is used as clues combining with the background music creation, related folklore, stage and text image. It also interpretates several images of women in Erhu works, making up the lack of performance of characters'images for tones without alleged properties and semantic nature, strives to restore the works of women's personality characteristics and ideology, through the complements of character images in music brought by the other arts' images.Conclusion summaries about women aesthetic and the female images in the erhu, try to discuss the feasibility of urheen in shaping female image and picturesque works and so on.
