Murakami Haruki is worldwide influence writer in Japan. His works has best-selling,and has very high reputation and great influence in his readers around the world. In mainland China, since 1989, "Norwegian Wood" was translated and published by Lijiang Publishing House, his works published by Chinese Publishing House had more than 30 books. In these works,the "Haruki Murakami's Collected Works" published by Shanghai Translation Publishing House in 2001, is the most famous.The serise books has set off "Haruki Murakami fever"in mainland China.So far, his masterpiece created a sales myth which these books sale more than hundreds of thousands of copies, print exceeding 20 times,and his works charmed in the readers, especial young readers.The available research is basically to learn from the literary point of view, the main contents of text study to explore literary value and spiritual content of the works of Murakami Haruki. The "Haruki Murakami fever" is not only a literary phenomenon and the publishing phenomenon, but also a cultural phenomena and social phenomena. "Murakami Haruki " in mainland China has become a cultural symbol, representing one set of values and way of life, therefore, it is necessary to study this phenomenon from various angles, multiple levels.The article focus on the phenomenon of the best-selling works of Murakami Haruki in mainland China.The article systematic and in-depth studies of this the phenomenon of meaning, performance, reason, inspir--ation, which learn from multi-level and multi-angle of the communicati--ons, editing and publishing, cultural studies, literary, sociology, mark--eting and so on. The article is divided into five chapters. Chapter I over- -viewed the research about Murakami Haruki and his works to explain the necessity of studying the subject, and introduce the research methods and the overall structure of the article.Chapter II introduced Murakami Haruki and the status of his works publication, summarized the four steps of Mur-kami Haruki's works publishing in mainland China.Chapter III epitomiz--ed the expressions of "Haruki Murakami fever":Works of best-selling, lots of loyal readers,become a new generation of writers imitated, become the focus of attention of mass media, the large number of published books. Chapter IV analyzed the reasons of the best-selling works of Murakami Haruki from the angle on social background, text features, audience cultural formation and development and the communication skills of the media. The final chapter mainly discussed the inspiration of the best-selling works of Murakami Haruki for the editing and publishing work:First, the authors step over the gap between the pure literature and the popular literature. Second, content of publication, marketing and brand is the crux of best-selling. The third, introduce of copyright avoid to vicious competition and the output of copyright combined nationalization and globalization.
