As a relatively maturer and complete ideological system and an important part of his critical philosophy system, the creation of the Kant's Educational Philosophy was not an fortuitous flash of inspiration, but was based on comprehensive cultural and historic background. This article analyses the main schools and figures which has exerted profound influence upon the Kant's Educational Philosophy and tries to reveal the continuity in the developing of the Kant's Educational Philosophy. In the second chapter, this paper mainly discusses the theoretical foundation of the Kant's Educational Philosophy. From the duality of matter, Kant drew out the viewpoint of human's duality, and further proved the duality of education. Considering autonomy as the nature of rationality, he attributed the essence of education to pedagogical autonomy underway and in this way human's subject status were established. Freedom is a core concept permeates the Philosophical System of Kant. Based on these viewpoints, Kant equated man's free will to his obedience to moral law and constructed the theoretical foundation of his Educational Philosophy. In the third chapter, this paper mainly discusses the primary coverage of the Kant's Educational Philosophy. From the aspects of anthroposophy, epistemology and moralism, Kant gave a demonstration of some questions, such as the possibility of human receiving education, the activity of cognition as well as the necessity of moral education and crystallized the education behavior through the characteristics of its methodology. In therms of humanity, Kant maintains the theory of human nature based on rational equality. He believes that only by education that human can become real person, also, only education can deliver humanity from bud to its essential stipulation. Epistemology features largely in the Kant's Educational Philosophy. Kant's epistemology develops and deepens the research of a series of fundamental problems, such as acquisition, formation and analysis of knowledge. The core of the Kant's Educational Philosophy is moral education. He maintains that the Ultimate Purpose of education is to teach people to observe the moral law of one's own free will made by human's practice rationality for people himself. Advocating rational and freedom are main ideas in the Kant's Educational Philosophy and so the characteristic of methodology in the Kant's Educational Philosophy ideological system. Based on the views and means of critical philosophy, the Kant revealed the internal relation between aesthetic and education from the philosophy level and pointed out that the nature of the encounter of aesthetic and education is actually the convergence of the human beings and the way to realize the real freedom. In the fourth chapter, this paper mainly discusses the effect and realistic enlightenment of the Kant's Educational Philosophy. Much the same as his critical philosophy system, the Kant's educational thoughts play an active role to inherit the past and usher in the future. Kant's educational philosophy has exerted a far-reaching impact on the educational philosophy. Even today, it is still of important realistic significance.
