MTV is a kind of public entertainment. It develops with time, science and technology and digital media.MTV is an art work combining voice of music with TV frame of continuous and active pictures. It expresses the subjective emotion carried by a song through the language. The singing and performance of actors or actresses and other forms of expression give the audience visual and aural shock, and it extents many kinds of traditional art forms in much significance. The main body of MTV is music, frames are auxiliary. Music is perceptual art which belongs to aural sense. Music language is rhythm and abstraction of real life which represent complicated emotion and enlightenment. The audience understand the main idea and content of a piece of music by sense and imagination, which is always not clear and indefinite. Therefore, the words and TV frames are necessary. The words of a song bring the audience into the music emotion through narrative or lyric writing. Meanwhile visual acceptation is main way to the aesthetic appreciation and the frames or pictures product the affection which voice can't. Color is the first reflection of visual sense and a main factor to construct the frame. Color has advantage in expression of mind, emotion, symbol and music. The characteristics of color supplements the defects of the frames and is the key to MTV.The thesis makes a study on the construction of color meanings,its effect, its regulars of construction and its influence on the psychology and visual experience etc from the theory and practice, using the ways of investigation and comparison. The thesis analyses the connection between color and music, and elaborates that color can helps to express and supplement the meaning and implication of music and break through the limitation of combination of music and frames. The thesis points out that color is a bridge to express the relation of time and space brought by music and frames and creates different artistic imagination. Color is a way to realize the expression of artistic conception of the song and to innovation of producing MTV.
