Ji Kang cast a special life among a specific era, and he also made his life full of rich tragedy. The substantive characteristics of his tragic life lay in that he hoped to live, but he was pushed to death by himself. He paid attention to health promotion and didn't fear death. On the one hand, he enjoyed his life with an easy grace:he cherished life, ate elixir, made his reclusive life in the mountains, cast iron and chanted, painted and versified. On the other, he hated injustice like poison, spoke vehemently with a distinctly moral tone, conspired against Sima's Group and never worried about his life or death. All activities drew the fire upon himself and pushed him to death finally. However, when death came, he could face death in a calm way and die with dignity. Based on the former research and according to Ji Kang's works, I deeply analyzed Ji Kang's attitude to life and death---not pleased by life and not saddened by death, and the ideological root of his tragic life.
