Electronic Music's Art Features And The Development Exploration

During the stages of the tape, electronic synthesizer and computer music, from the 50's to today's, electronic music's has already had a significant leap from production to transmission so that had a profound revolution in the music area that the unique ways of thinking and the new musical language have formed a new type of music. As a combination of science technology and music art, in the first embodiment electronic music just reflected both properties of the music and science that gave the music a new function and features while also suffering from many defects and shortcomings that the science and technology created. This article will systematically explain the development and the arts features of the electronic music, comprehensively analyze the problems in the development of electronic music, and positively evaluate the far-reaching significance of the electronic music combined by the science technology and the muscit art as the human society develops.The electronic music art features are identified as four areas: the social popularity, including the inter-regional and the recreational popularity; the educational popularity, including improvement of the appreciation level and the upgrading of music; the art aesthetic, including the three-dimensional aesthetic and a wide range aesthetic; and creative richness, including the quick creation and the freedom creation. The electronic music's current development includes three main problems: one is the network problem, mainly about the non-health network electronic music negatively impacting the development of musical art; second is the impact that development of electronic music gives to traditional music industry, mainly about that the value position of electronic music not yet formed; three is the electronic music piracy causing serious harm. Finally the article synthetically assesses the progressive significance of the electronic music based on the features of the electronic music and the technology characteristics, and gives an expect and a prospect to the electronic music development.
