"Future" Under The Influence Of Tradition

Futurism,the literal movement which had brought great influence to Europe, originated in Italy and then was introduced to Russia. The researches about the Russian futurism tend to pay more attention on its modern characteristics and its association with Italian futurism than the literal expectation at some specific ages and the inherent relation between Russian tradition and futurism. The reason why we propose the"out-of-date"topic is that we want to study the futurism movement with characteristics of modernism in the whole system of Russian literature development, and focus more on the characteristics of Russian literature. It is undoubted that most futurists in Russia are influenced by Italian futurism. However, there is an essential factor for the development of Russia's own futurism, that is, it has developed in Russia's local culture. On the one hand, it is impossible to follow Italy's in all ways; on the other hand, it can be independent of Russian national traditions. Russian futurism is banded with national characteristics by the factors such as Russian religion, language and literature. The paper tries to reveal the relation between Russian futurism Italian futurism through some introduction of Russia's futurism movement, poets, poetry, and national traditions. More focuses are put on some poets and their poetry than Russian futurism from the perspective of democratic leanings, humanism and Slavic complex. We try to introduce a different Russian futurism from the aspects of its images, musical beauty and revolution, therefore present the original Russian futurism with the Russian national characteristics. As a result, those Russian futuristic poets who were ever regarded to be against traditon therfore return to be with the national literature traditions, thought they have futurismise the national literature tradition. We can find the other sides of Russian futuristic poetry after accepting the cultural heritage of futurism with criticism. Finally, we wil be clear about the social features of Russian futurism.
