This dissertation probes into the interlanguage fossilization which can facilitate to avert or decrease the fossilization phenomena presented in students' written assignments by way of detecting the association between the second language teaching and learning, ascertaining the efficient strategies with the intention of decelerating the fossilization; it, meanwhile, summarizes the implications of strategies which are exceedingly of significance for theoretical and practical instruction of English, intending for triumphing over fossilization.The dissertation envelops a presentation of the descriptions and characteristics of interlanguage and fossilization, categorization of fossilization and additionally its casual factors. Data collection and analysis have been implemented so as to perceive the frequency, distribution of the errors committed by the students, furthermore, it explores the corelation of the errors between the freshmen and the sophomores by means of statistics to investigate the function of the instruction of the second language.In accordance with the theory of interlanguage and fossilization, only by means of utilizing aboundant proficient strategies which have a positive efficiency in terms of instrution of the second language learning by the instructors, can students be effusively aided to be copiously meticulous of the their own output of language, enhancing their performances to accomplish capability to surmount fossilization. Study of interlanguage fossilization can be exploited to back up the understanding of the procedure of second language learning for seeking out pedagogical strategies which can make second language teaching and learning more efficient.
