The study of Intercultural Differences is steadily increasing though, there has been little or no effort to develop an intercultural comparison between two or more countries from the perspective of video games. This paper try to creates a template for such analyses by developing and explaining five areas that game culture researchers should consider when studying video game and intercultural differences, they are Geert Hofstede's five culture dimensions:PDI, IDV, MAS, UAI, LTO. Through the use of specific examples as well as examples from different types and genres of video games to compare the levels of Hofstede's five cultural dimensions in the two countries-Japan and America and to examine the effects of video games on these levels. the study try to reveal underlying intercultural differences from the perspective of video games, the study is made for verifying these five areas or components as a (developing) methodology for the critical analysis of one or many culture with the help of video games analysis. Country differences were found with five of the five dimensions. Intercultural Differences in the levels of power-distance, individualism, masculinity, uncertainty avoidance and long term orientation were observed across various demonstrations of video games. The study try to make comparisons from the analysis of multidimensional perspectives of video games, such as, the origins and culture of Japan and America where these top video games were made, different video game platforms, types, genres, styles, reasons, ideas and countless accessories of video games to find out the intercultural differences between the two countries.
