| Late Baroque began from the 17th century, this is the last glorious of the Baroque, and this time was the incubation period of Rococo style. All areas indicated the coming Age of Enlightenment, and especially, J.S Bach, Handel, D. Scarlatti, etc. promoted the Baroque music to the peak of the times. They created a large number of works as a rich spiritual heritage to posterity, and these works which represent of the Baroque's art peak are still shiny in four hundred years later.Ancient piano music was the characteristics in these vast works. There were two kinds of ancient piano in this time, one called harpsichord and anther one called clavichord, mostly composer's keyboard works of this period were created for them. However, after the 17-18 victory century, because the music player can not express the subjective feelings, which due to the lacking of such structures on the keyboard, new piano began to replace the ancient piano from the 18th century. In the four hundred years later, the sense of the modern piano has been used widely.Because there are considerable differences between modern piano and ancient piano, we must study and pay attention to annotation and deduction the works of ancient piano on the modern piano. This paper will examine the characteristics of ancient piano in late Baroque and their representative works, analyze the performance of its instruments, study the works of the era of style, discuss the performance techniques and works of the version. Presented that when play the works of ancient piano on the modern piano, the players must follow the "historic" and "times" principle, both should take into account the general characteristics of the Baroque period, for example, the historical features, the strength, syntax, speed, sound etc. But the players should pursuit of a profound expression of music, and music itself, that is, respect for history and history is being detained, but not to play the shackles of individuality.
